In this fifth installment in the Batman series, Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) is in his mid-20s and is traveling the world learning to fight injustice. When he returns to Gotham City, he unveils his alter-ego; a masked crusader who utilizes strength, intellect and a variety of high-tec gadgets. His first task is to stop the Scarecrow (Cillian Murphy) from poisioning the city.
