Clint Eastwood plays retired auto worker Walt Kowalski, an iron-willed veteran. The people he once called his neighbours have all moved or passed away, replaced by immigrants from Southeast Asia, people he despises. When Walt stands in the way of a local gang, he becomes the neighbourhood's reluctant hero, setting in motion an unlikely friendship that will change his life.
