Nick Powell (Justin Chatwin) is a high school senior with a bright future, until one day he is brutally attacked by a troubled girl in his class, Annie (Margarita Levieva), and her gang. His body is left for dead and now his spirit is stuck in limbo, as he tries to communicate with the living because he is barely alive in a storm drain. Now with only hours away from truly perishing, Nick must convince the only person who is able to hear his cries to locate his body before its to late - Annie.
