In this installment in the "SAW" horror film franchise, serial killer Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) and his new apprentice Amanda (Shawnee Smith) are back at it again, getting people to appreciate their lives by putting them in deadly situations. But this time they kidnap a doctor, Lynn (Bahar Soomekh), who is placed into a neck brace that is linked to Jigsaw's heart monitor and an unhappy father, Jeff (Angus Macfadyen), who lost his son (Stefan Georgiou) at the hands of a drunk driver.
