The Curtains Close on DIFF 2006
Today's films showing at Mall of the Emirates Cinestar Cinemas have set the ending of 2006's Dubai International Film Festival, which includes the filming of Brad Pitt's latest film, Babel, which also releasing throughout the Emirates this weekend.

The first film to be reviewed for the Dubai Film Festival 2006 is now available from local film critic Faizan Rashid and its for the film, "Paris, je t'aime".

DIFF to Hold Outdoor Screenings
The "Screen on the Green" outdoor screening series is back again this year and will have a screening each evening at 8pm starting on December 11th to 16th. Held at the Dubai Media City's (DMC) Amphitheatre at Dhs. 10 per ticket, the line up of films for the series will include For Your Consideration, Dor, Princess Raccoon, The Ugly Duckling and Me, Volver: Pedro Almodovar (All About my Mother, Bad Education), and Vanaja.

India’s Brightest Stars to Shine on DIFF
This year's red carpet at the Dubai International Film Festival will shine with the hottest, brightest stars in the Bollywood heavens, with rising talents and living legends alike, which include Shah Rukh Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Sameera Reddy, Sushma Reddy, John Abraham, Dev Anand, Mohan Lal, and Irfan Khan.

Tickets on Sale for DIFF
The box office for the third annual Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) opened today, with six locations and a dedicated call centre for movie lovers to buy tickets to screenings, panel discussions with key industry figures, and special events. The six locations include CineStar Cinemas (Deira City Centre), CineStar Cinemas (Mall of the Emirates), The Madinat Theatre (Madinat Jumeirah), Madinat Arena (Madinat Jumeirah), Dubai Media City Building 2 and Dubai Media City Amphitheatre.

Films to be shown at the film festival
Dubai International Film Festival 2006 will be opened with the screening of Emilio Estevez's "Bobby", which stars an all-star cast including DIFF 2006's attendies Joshua Jackson and Laurence Fishburne. Oliver Stone's latest film, "World Trade Center" will also be screen at DIFF 2006.

The bollywood guests will include Shah Rukh Khan (actor), John Abraham (actor), and Mohan Lal (actor). The arab guests will include Mahmoud Abdul Aziz, Salah Saadany (actor), Ahmed Bider (comedian), Hani Salama, Hind Sabri (actress), Mona Zaki (actress), Laila Elowi, and Mervat Amine. GCC guests will include Hayat al Fahad, Abdul Hussain Adbulredha, Saad al Faraj, Ghanem al Saleh, Mohammed al Mansour, Ghanem al Salaifi and Abdul Aziz al Jassim.
