UAE Films was launched in November 2001, as a cinema and movies resource catering only to the UAE. At that time, most cinemas either didnt have a website or didnt have an updated website. The popularity of TEN Movies and UAE Film has made it a perfect entertainment content provider for companies like 7Days, Emirates Today, Etisalat (Weyak), MSN Arabia, Evening Post, Arabia.com, among others.

TEN Movies launched its Arabic version on the 13th of November 2004 and its WAP service in November 2005, to support users who are on the go.
